JOB TITLE: Corporate Compliance Associate
REPORTS TO: Director, Corporate Compliance
1. Work with Director, Corporate Compliance:
A. In developing, revising, organizing and implementing Taro’s corporate compliance and ethics policies.
B. In developing, organizing and implementing Sun Pharma’s North American compliance and ethics program and policies (under Shared Services)
2. Primarily responsible for day-to-day administration of Taro’s Worldwide Online Compliance Training Program:
A. Development of training modules using LRN platform
B. Development of reporting metrics utilizing LRN data
C. In conjunction with HR, development of Compliance portion of new hire orientation/onboarding
D. Development of Board of Director training modules
3. Oversight of the Taro Hotline (EthicsPoint).
4. Assist Director, Corporate Compliance with Compliance responsibilities and Investigations.
5. Primary responsibility for development of corporate compliance monitoring methodologies and reporting metrics.
6. Additional responsibilities as assigned.
NOTE: This position has no Sarbanes-Oxley compliance responsibilities.
1. Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
2. Advanced Compliance/Legal Degree or Certifications helpful.
3. Three to six years experience in a formal Corporate Compliance role.
4. Excellent written, oral and presentation skills.
5. Excellent analytical skills.
6. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage complexity.
7. Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
1. Indoor corporate office environment.
2. Primarily desk work. Should be able to sit at a computer for extended periods of time during the typical work day.
3. Although travel is anticipated to be minimal, it may be necessary to visit the Company’s facilities located in New Jersey or Canada for relatively short periods of time.
