JOB TITLE:  Business Analyst
DEPARTMENT:  Administration
REPORTS TO:  CEO
DIRECT REPORTS:  None

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Contributor in developing Taro’s business strategy in order to maximize region profitability and performance via supporting CEO with planning, monitoring, and review of business units and initiatives.
 
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Actively work and support CEO with various tactical and strategic projects.
2. Lead and liaise special corporate initiatives requiring cross functional communication with key staff across multiple geographic regions.
3. Responsible for managing and preparing monthly management reports and dashboards working with key functions.
4. Support key commercial team business reviews and function as an active contributor in assessing opportunities driving business success.
5. Coordinate monthly reviews of different functions and progress update on key projects undertaken by multiple business units.
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS / ABILITIES & EXPERIENCE TO DO THE JOB:
1. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required with and MBA or MS in Operations/Finance strongly preferred.
2. At least one to two years of experience in corporate analytics / business strategy preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
3. Strong interpersonal skills.
4. Strong collaboration skills.
5. Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to speak publically.
6. Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
7. Adept with the use of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with ERP systems.
