JOB TITLE: Forward Inventory Analyst
DEPARTMENT: TUSA Sales & Marketing
REPORTS TO: Director, Supply Chain
Responsible for monitoring wholesaler inventory levels, with a focus on managing supply and avoidance of penalties
1. Monitor inventory levels at wholesaler level of close to 1,000 SKUs, accounting for 60% of Rx unit volume
2. Closely monitor for supply issues and react on the PO creation or allocations side during price changes, product launches, product transitions, awards/losses, and market supply disruptions
3. Analyze wholesaler overstocks and work with CSR/sales on remediation plans
4. Combat speculative buying of wholesalers and or indirect customers by reviewing the full landscape of wholesaler purchases, sales on contracts, and similar data
5. Research and validate all supply related penalties based on liability and contractual obligations
6. Assist with analyzing chargeback patterns for contract compliance or revenue leakage
7. Provide support to to the order management/allocations team
8. Effective presentation of ideas to senior management
1. Bachelor’s degree a must, a technical field preferred
2. 2-5 years related experience in technical order management of key accounts in commodity market supply chains (this is not a customer service position)
3. Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in pivot tables, a must
4. Ability to focus on large data sets and distill key facts over many hours of work
5. Prior experience with IntegriChain or ValueCentric software packages are valued
6. ERP Skills in SAP are valued
7. Data mining and/or SQL skills preferred
8. Experience in pharmaceuticals, brand products, or the food/beverage industry preferred
1. Work extended hours, as necessary, commensurate with work / project load.
