JOB TITLE: Receptionist
DEPARTMENT: Human Resources
REPORTS TO: Director, Human Resources
DIRECT REPORTS: None

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Performs all activities related to opening and operating the multi-line phone system and admitting visitors to the main reception area.
 
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Professionally answer all incoming calls and ensure callers are directed to the appropriate employee.
2. Provide callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers and other related information.
3. Greet and identify visitors in a professional, hospitable manner and notify employee of their arrival.
4. Receive incoming deliveries and faxes and notify recipients of their arrival.
5. Administer distribution and return of temporary ID badges.
6. Completes employment applicant flow spreadsheet.
7. Creates Senior Manager Calendar for Taro & SUN CEO
8. Create New hire Packages
9. Creates monthly birthday cards for employees
10. Creates packets for Open Enrollment
11. Handles sign up for employee training / events at Hawthorne
12. Assists with booking conferences rooms / interviews as needed
12. Assists with employee events as needed
 
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties as needed.
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS/ABILITIES & EXPERIENCE TO DO THE JOB:
1. High school diploma or GED.
2. Minimum 1 year experience utilizing multi-line telephone.
3. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel).
4. Punctual and reliable.
5. Possess excellent verbal communication skills and phone etiquette.
6. Demonstrated customer service focus.
7. Ability to multi-task
 
WORKING CONDITIONS:
1. Standard hours are 8:30 to 5:00 with a 30 min lunch break.
